Central Town In Barcelona, Spain

Located in the heart of Barcelona, in the district known as Sant Antoni, the accommodations of CentralTown Gay Guest House offer a warm and casual-chic decor in a pleasing and relaxed environment. Always meticulously clean, the comfortable and inviting guest-house offers four individual rooms featuring private or shared bath, conventional TV, cable and WiFi. An extensive continental breakfast is offered at the guest-house in the community kitchen/dining area and coffee or tea may be enjoyed at your leisure throughout the day. We also offer vacation stays in a private self-contained apartment featuring a private roof-top terrace, flat screen TV, satellite, high-speed internet and all that you would require to make a home away from home.

Renovated in 2012, you’ll find many details for your comfort and a pleasant stay throughout the guest-house and apartment – with a particular emphasis on a relaxed and comfortable feel. Both locations, which are within a 3-minute walk from each other, are in modern buildings on upper floors with elevators and are air-conditioned and centrally heated. Nestled comfortably next to the Sant Antoni market and on two major metro-subway lines, all of Barcelona’s destinations are easily accessible with just a short ride. Las Ramblas, the Gay-xample and many of Barcelona’s major highlights and exciting night-life are within easy walking distance in only minutes.

Barcelona has a dynamic and friendly personality that is so typical of many Mediterranean cities yet remains distinct. Explore its pedestrian-friendly streets, relax on one of its beaches or many terraces, stroll through its architectural beauty, indulge yourself and enjoy. As a sea-side city, Barcelona has its own unique way of life and offers all of the pleasures of being by the sea with all of the comforts and diversity of a major city. Come and experience it for yourself; from the rushing excitement of the Barcelona Grand Prix, the renowned Sant-Joan national Catalan holiday, and the SONAR and Merce festivals, as well as the very popular gay-themed events such as Pride, Circuit and BEAR-celona.

If festivals and events aren’t your thing, Barcelona is internationally renowned for its art, architecture, history and distinct Catalan culture, making it the perfect city to enrich your knowledge of the famous sons of Barcelona, Gaudi and Miro, and to explore the cultural and historical diversity that is Catalunya. Fine shopping and delectable restaurants fill the city too, so bring your appetite. The gay and public beaches are easily accessible and the famous gay destination of Sitges is just a hop, skip and a jump away.

While gay owned, operated and visited by mostly gay guests, CentralTown is completely straight-friendly and welcomes everyone as open-minded as we are. We have been welcoming guests for the past 11 years and your comfort and enjoyment are our number one concern. Your host, Matt, endeavors to make your visit to Barcelona an enjoyable and exciting experience.
